Run - Swim - Run

The second annual Tell City Run-Swim-Run will be held in Tell City, Indiana.  Tell City is located in scenic Southern Indiana.  

The race consists of a 5K running race, followed by an 800 m swimming race, followed by another 5K running race.  All races are to be completed consecutively and in order.  The entire race must be completed by the same person; no relays permitted.

Registration for the race begins at 6:30 AM Central Standard Time.
   ∞Location for registration is at the gazebo in City Hall Park.
   ∞Tell City City Hall park is located at 700 Main Street in Tell City, Indiana.

The race will begin at 7:15 AM Central Standard Time. 
   ∞Once the race begins, all participants will begin the first 5K running race. 
   ∞Immediately after they complete the 5K race, the participant will begin the           swimming portion of the race. 
   ∞The race is timed as a complete event.  (No individual segment times will be available.)
   ∞Race times will be available at the conclusion of the race.

During the race, a water station will be located at the approximate 1.5 mile mark, at the pool, and at registration.

Baskets for swim gear will be provided at registration and will be at the pool after the start of the race.  The baskets will be back at the registration area at the conclusion of the race.

Restrooms will be provided.

Police escorts will be provided to cross Highway 66/12th Street.

Awards will be given in the following categories:

   ∞Top male and female finisher.

   ∞1st place in each of the following age groups for men and women:
       ~15 and under
       ~16-25
       ~26-35
       ~36-45
       ~46-55
       ~56 and over
